This device is intended for vehicles that are being converted from a 5-speed manual transmission to a 6-speed manual transmission. It prevents the driver from accidentally shifting into reverse while the vehicle is moving.
When the vehicle speed exceeds 25 km/h (about 15.5 mph), the solenoid built into the 6-speed transmission is activated, preventing engagement of the reverse gear.
Because a properly specified relay is used, reliability is ensured and there is no need to worry about operational issues.
